Who we are
This website is operated by Exechem Limited, trading as Medisanel, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland (company number 724439), registered office 6-9 Trinity Street, Dublin 2, D02 EY47, Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at info@medisanel.com.
What this notice covers
Our website is an information and enquiry site for trade customers and distributors. It has no user accounts, no online ordering and no analytics tracking. The only personal data we collect through the site is what you send us in the enquiry form.
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry we receive your name, work email address, organisation, the enquiry type and collection you select, your delivery preference and the message you write. Please do not include patient information or other sensitive personal data in your message. We do not need it and we will delete it if it is sent.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to discuss supply, distribution or product information with you and, if a commercial relationship follows, to set up and manage it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and developing trade relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where your enquiry leads to a contract, processing is necessary for that contract (Article 6(1)(b)). We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
Automated spam protection
The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and connection to make that decision. It does not track you across websites. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. The site itself is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which processes IP addresses and request data to serve pages and protect the site. To limit abuse of the form we also keep a temporary, keyed hash of the sending IP address for ten minutes. The hash cannot be reversed to the address and no message content is stored with it.
Who receives your information
Your enquiry is sent by email to our team and a confirmation is sent to the address you gave. The services involved are Cloudflare (website delivery and spam protection), Net Essence Ltd (website hosting, United Kingdom) and our email hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
International transfers
Our hosting provider is in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission has recognised as providing adequate protection for personal data. Cloudflare and our email provider may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off, and then delete them. If you become a customer, records are kept for the life of the relationship and for the period required by Irish tax and company law afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it or ask us to restrict it. Email info@medisanel.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963, dataprotection.ie. If you are in the United Kingdom you may also contact the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are checked on our server, go directly to our mailbox and are not stored on the web server.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare's network may set strictly necessary cookies or use browser storage solely to perform the security check and deliver the site reliably. These are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Regulations because they are essential to the service you asked for, so there is no cookie banner. If we add any non-essential cookies in future we will ask for your consent first.

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the current version at the top of this page.
